Ghana Ben Agbee is one of Ghana’s most successful artists, who has carved a niche for himself over the years with extremely evocative works. As a young artist, he was inspired and directed by his uncle, Mr Victor Ameyibor, who is an outdoor advertising expert and a very versatile artist.
Ben exhibits a talent that is marked by originality and vigour. His vibrant paintings employ the use of earthly tones. The use of the palette knife and brush technique add a unique finish to all his paintings. His works consist of different types of art; from figures and symbols bordered on abstract, to impressionism, landscapes and realism.
Ben has displayed his works in Ghana, Europe, Canada, Togo, the United States of America and New Zealand. His works are in numerous private collections worldwide.
